DVD anti theft device

    I bought a dvd took off cellophane but cannot open the red anti theft thing. How can I without breaking case or disc? Don't they usually take them off in the shop? Do I have to go back to shop?

    i got one out of a blu ray box with a scissors and a packet of plasters, which I wouldn't recommend.

    Might break the disc. Guess i will have to go back and I have lost receipt:o. How do they take them off in the shop?

    Happened to me before. Had to go back to the shop. They take it off so easily, bit like a bottle opener in a bar.

    A strong magnet does the trick with most of those security tags, although you really need to have seen inside one before to see where/how to use it. Take it back to the shop is the handiest, pain in the arse though, happened me a few times.
