This will just be for the xbox so an LCD TV or a Monitor, looking for 24-32inch max spend would be €400. I was thinking of getting two 24inch monitors but can that be hooked up with the 360?

You need to make sure that the Monitor is HDCP compliant. Just having the resolution to support HD is not the same if your using a HDMI/DVI.
Vga is possable but you need a new inter conect lead.
A TV would brobably be better idea.

For such relatively small screen sizes, it is debatable whether HD resolution is worth having. For 24" screen the optimum viewing distance to get the benefit of the extra resolution is only 38", for the 32" screen it is 50"

You could get the Dell S2409W monitor which is Full HD (1080p) and has a HDMI, DVI and VGA input for €279 including free delivery. There is a user review with a lot of pictures here.

There are also a lot of TVs you can find on RicherSounds that should meet your requirements and are within your price range.

Yeah full HD doesn't matter as you need a 50'+ size to notice it. I think I'll go for a Sony 32W series and up the budget.

While I agree with you adjusting your budget and going for a 32W4000, I have one myself, you don't need a 50"+ TV to notice the benefits of 1080p, they are noticeable on screens a lot smaller than that; it is all about your viewing distance from the screen.
