    Ok, so....

Was with my dentist last November, had some work done, fillings etc. There was one tooth on my right, lower jaw, 2nd last tooth (I dont have wisdom teeth ) that the dentist thinks is a dead loss, cant be filled and root canal is no longer an option either :(. He wanted to pull it then, but as it wasnt paining me or had ever caused me grief I told him not to (it was this same logic, ie no pain from teeth = no need to go to a dentist which has me in this situation! :p). Anyway, the past few days this particular tooth has been playing up, not much, but its telling me that 'its time', theres a bit of swelling on the gum too.

So, gonna visit the dentist Monday and tell him to pull it (I know I'm gonna get that 'I told you so' tone of voice off him! :p). But, what I'd like to know is, what are my options afterwards? Dentures, hmmm, prefer not, bridges, they damage the teeth ether side right? And I cant really afford to be damaging anymore teeth. My teeth never were the best and the fact that I still have some milk teeth doesnt help matters! What is the cost of an implant per tooth? I know they arent cheap, but a basic idea so I can start calling in debths and rooting under my matress! :)

hi, i had an implant last year and it cost me E2500. however i should be getting back 41% from the tax man. if you do it you will only be able to claim back 20%.

Hi, would you mind letting me know where you got the implant done, I've been quoted nearly 4000, think it's a bit steep:(
