Just browsing milwatches, some very nice watches but most are quartz, they are still quite expensive though, up to 5 or 6 hundred, can't see a quartz being worth anything in that range, would have thought 50 quid would be more like it, how much would you pay for a quartz ?

I'd pay up to 200 for something unusual. I'd pay more for the really high end quartz experimental movements of the 70's/80's from Omega and Rolex. Very cool electronics that were aiming at under 1 secs loss/gain a month. Not your average quartz.

Of the rest? I'd pay for a G-shock. I consider them good value and a great concept and a good watch.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
