    32 WINDOWS can only use 3gb of ram so the fourth is pointless.

    Personally I prefer the Intel chipsets in laptops. But I would be aware that Vista will not support 4Gb of Ram unless you use 64 Bit Vista, so maybe the 3Gb would be better. Ram is really cheap at the moment anyway.
