Do not drive with a coil pack gone as the unburnt fuel goes into the cat and you cause from damage.
    What car and year?
A lot of manufacturers give up to a five year warrany on coil packs.

Coil pack is about 40 euro and fit it yourself. As long as you know which one is gone.

I drove a few miles with a coil pack gone, didn't seem to cause any harm.

First time got it fixed in the garage, 110 EUR.
Second time put it in myself, 40EUR.

You can replace it yourself using trial and error until you hit the right one and she runs smoothly again. ;)
