    Absolutely astounding album!

10 tracks of perfection.. one of those albums I could put on at any time and enjoy. It's a perfect mixture of so many genre's of music - but is just a wonderful easy-listening album.

My only hope is sooner or later Gibbard, Tambarello and Lewis (etc) will give us a follow up.. but I think it's getting increasingly unlikely as years pass.

Cheers for the recommendation Basquille. I don't know these guys (you may have gathered I inhabit an 80s/early 90s timewarp :o). Checking them out on YouTube now - yep, I likes.

Beautiful work.. Natural anthem is probably one of the best closers around, reminds me of Soon the way it leaves me feel when the music ends- that refreshed feeling like waking out of a meditation session or coming out of the gym into fresh air.

Also check out The dream of evan & chan if you haven't already.

Been listening to this for a number of years now and it never gets old. An absolutely magical album from beginning to end.

The lyrics of 'Sleeping In' are a joy to behold.

Can't believe it's 6 years old already!

Only heard 'Such Great Heights' off this album which I think is fantastic. Will give the whole album a listen soon.

Postal Service > Death Cab :pac:

While I do like Death Cab for the most part, I find their albums tend to have a lot of filler alongside the two or three great songs. Give Up is far more consistent, and while its hard to follow up the great double punch opening of District Sleeps Alone / Such Great Heights, it works very well as a full album. Definitely one I go back to every few months for a couple of listens. Would love to see them make a new album, but as Basquille said, may never happen now, which is a huge shame.

One of my favorite all time albums. Once I listen to one song off it I have to let the rest play through because I always need more. Such a beautiful album :)

Oh, how I love this album! The bass in 'Sleeping In', mmm, just amazing! Ben Gibbard is great :):)

First heard tracks off this album on Donal Dineen years back. I was reallyt impressed but promptly forgot the name of the band until a few weeks later I was sitting a coffee shop in Galway and my friend working there put it on.

It's one that I think I'll always find myself going back to over and over.

As someone said to me once: "It's album of the year for the past three years!"
