Am I missing something obvious here?

Why is there such a difference in the price of both of these switches?

Regardless of the description, both are Rack Mountable.

Is there something not good about TP-Link?

Where's the justification for difference of almost €106?

    Switch Comparison:

The brand the extra RAM and mostly the "Optional 100Mbps Fiber Ports" option.

Right BOFH, but it does seem a lot of money for 3 MB RAM & one extra port?

Then again, it's an area I know little about, so maybe it's just ignorance on my part :)

If you were to slap a Cisco label on it, for would be looking at an extra 0 on the price tag.

    With gigabit upload 150 euro:

If you have or will have more than one switch go with the gigabit model.
