Am hoping to be cycling to work more regularly & hoping for your thought on tops for commuting? Ware shirt & tie for work. Will have these in bag. Any ideas? Want to pick up a couple for about 30e each.

Also looking for some sort of anker that I can attach to the ground or wall that I can lock a couple of bikes to? It's for outside a house I'm renting. Dont have much cash to spend.

    Thanks.

Stick to natural fibres (cotton, wool) as synthetics get smellier (niceonetom's suggestion, it works).

I've started using a Merino wool jersey, but they're sodding expensive and can be tricky to care for (mine is hand wash only, but others are machine washable).

If I was on a budget, I'd stick to cheap cotton t-shirts.

It's just over your budget, but a 3 pack of merino baselayers for 110 from Rapha would be ideal -you can wear them under a normal t-shirt and will do the job nicely (I use em all the time -toasty warm and not smelly).

Alternatively, I also have one of these hoodies from swrve -great as a baselayer, or a top on it's own

M&S non-iron or easy iron shirts are the win. And you can usually get away with 'smart' runners to avoid taking a pair of shoes in the pannier bag.

For actually on the bike, clearly you need a boards jersey, and who cares what's underneath :)

Someone posted here before about wall-fitting anchors for bikes, usually mounted about 5 foot of the ground. Worth a look for sure.
