Hey, my boyfriend's sister has mumps and he wants to do stuff this weekend. Thing is, I got the first mmr when I was a baby and had a bad reaction to it so didn't have the follow up mmrs. Would it be risky to meet up with my boyfriend outside of his home, could he somehow be carrying the virus? I cant risk getting mumps at…

I cant risk getting mumps at this time because I have my LC irish oral and music practical next week and need to be in good health, could I possibly get it if I met him at the weekend?

Also slightly related: If I get into medicine will I have to get the MMr vaccine again?
