    Hi,

Has anyone here with a duplex had their balcony done with decking? If so can you recommend anyone and share how much it cost? Thinking it would be nice for the summer. Thanks.

This idea is intriguing. I'd be interested in any experiences (cost, suitability) as well.

My Sister just had her apartment decked by the same guys that did my Garden. Not sure of costs but she said wasn't near what she thought it was going to be. Their names are Gardenviews and they have pictures of my Sis's place on their site http://www.gardenviews.ie/City-Balcony-Decking.html.

If like ours yours is stone paving already, it'll actually be alot warmer with a stone floor in summer, the paving absorbs the heat and keeps it, unlike wood ;). After the suns been beating down on it, and if your there around lunchtime try walking on it with your bare feet, or just touching with your palm of hand, toasty! :)

I got squares of decking from Ikea for my duplex balcony and it looks great now. I needed 4 packets of the decking so it only came to 100euro and they all interlock. It really lifts the look of the balcony now...http://www.ikea.com/ie/en/catalog/products/20165486
