    I received a summons in the post today and i know i cant seek legal advise, but i need some help please..i have to appear in court next month to answer a charge of not having a tv License...im totally in bits here, shaking and crying, what the hell can i do?

    No not that i can recall...it states on the letter, " that i did on the 22 of July 2008 unlawfully keep a tv" etc, etc, but i dont recall in the last few months getting a reminder, and as im home on a daily basis im pretty sure no-one called.

    Things have been crazy here budgeting since i lost my part time job, so am guilty of burying my head in sand where buying the tv licence is concerned.
