    Hi all,

Can anyone suggest public transport routes to get fro Dun Laoghaire - Ranelagh? Even to Leeson st.?

Only bus I can find is 46x but that is €2.50 flat fare and is really for the airport.

46A or 746 from Dun Laoghaire to Leeson Street Bridge.

As above - 46A or 746 is yer only man, but you may want/need to get off earlier along Leeson Street or Morehampton Road, depending on where in Ranelagh you are going to.

Alternatively (this is one for a fine summers day when you're in no rush though) try DART to Grand Canal Dock and walk up the canal past Baggot Street & Leeson Street. This won't be much use to you if you are not going to the town side of Ranelah though unless you *really* like walking.

DART to Sandymount and then Bus 18 to Ranelagh is also an option, though the 18 can be unreliable at times...
