Mens way of thinking when they meet a woman for the first time

I met someone ages ago and he freely admitted that whenever he meets a woman the first thing he thinks of is if they would have sex with him or not. He did think I would have sex with him(all I could do was laugh), he also thought a friend would if she wasn't going out with someone. We just put this down to him having an ego that was too big for him but since then I've noticed comments and other things that makes me think that guys think this way, I don't think all of them do but I'm just wondering how many.

So guys do you think in the terms of 'she will/won't sleep with me' and not just when your attracted to someone.

not usually a problem I encounter (due to my wonderful recollection of course) but its an interesting that the OP mentions this.
I usually only think it with certain types of women.
