Some taliban moderator locked my thread in after hours even tho it is a legitimate question and is releveant to half the country at this stage so i am posting it here cos i heard this is the forum where moderators stay out of or are at least not complete nazis -

Anyone got an idea how much the dole will be cut in this new budget in April? Im fairly pissed off about it, cant really afford it to drop. At the moment I can just about manage one night out a week and maybe a few cans on wed/thur. Its gonna be goodbye to a lot of peoples socail life if they cut it too much. Especially since ive been having a bad run on the horses the last few weeks, this counldnt come at a worse possible time. Maybe people should organise a protest about it?

got laugh at this, you dont want a dole cut as you still want be able, have cans during the week and also so you can go out at weekend, and to cover your gambling losses.
This is prime example of the irish attiude.

Well im down again this week, have had 4 consecutve losing weeks in a row now, mostly betting horses and soccer. Down about 250 quid in total. Really feel like i should give it up now but keep thinking i should stick at it and turn it around. What is story, is anyone winning at gambling at all, or is it true what they say 'the bookie always wins'?

Please refer to this above post that you made in another thread. Stop wasting the money (us tax-payers have to give you) on ****ing horses and you'll be sorted.

my sympathy lies with you OP, in your case so fact you should be given more money to cover your social life.

I think the government should fund a monthly trip to the races for you and one night in the pub for you a week.

    Would that be satisfactory people

Oh Queenie i believe one of your ancestors had the answer "Let Them Eat Cake", and could I suggest a drink from our Scottish cousins "A Bottle of Buckfast"

oh def. I agree wholeheartedly colrow. A bottle of buckfast every morning with his porridge would be splendid.

There is a great lineage in my ancestors.
