    hello people!

OK I'm starting on the off roading scene now and was just looking for some advice on the bike I should get. I've been looking at the 09 GT aggressor.

Bike will be used for Ballyhoura etc.
    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hey bobbly, check out this site....

    http://www.mtbr.com/

Its pretty good, you can review each part and compare other products.

Let us know how you get on

It looks grand - leaning more towards "burly" than light and fast. Fine for general riding.

Take a look at Giant, Specialized and Lapierre too. Or the new kid in town - KTM.

That sort of cyclin would be sortof cross country so i would suggest a KONA fire mountain delux ... i have one and its extremely light and enjoyable on the mud

That comes with a dart fork, mechanical discs and Deore all around, I'd go with the GT over that. Its better specced.

Bike is good for the money, I see no reason not to go for it. Just don't go back to halfords for anything. Ever.
