Does anybody think BOD will be talking to Pat tonight about the win, and maybe one or two of the other Leinster boys?

I'm sure O'Connell and O'Gara might have made an appearence if they were'nt playing tonight.

They're not listed in the team to play tonight..........

If some of the team was on the LLS it'd probably be the only thing that would tempt me to watch it.

Oh God, what an appalling spectacle in prospect as 'The Plank' fawns all over the team in that creepy, 'Slightly-Odd-Uncle" way of his and we all indulge in a nauseous bout of "dhera. sure aren't we great" -ism.....

Its the players I feel sorry for....God help them, shouldn't they all be on a beach somewhere sipping pina-coladas???

Its a pity Pat Kenny is going to be the one asking the questions, he doesnt have a clue about any sports and it really shows any time he does these type of interviews.

Pat Kenny is so cringeville - it's embarrassing to watch

It's bad alright. Thought BOD was going to burst out laughing during The Plank's intro which just went on and on and illustrated exactly what he knows about the game...SFA.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,416 ✭✭✭chupacabra

jesus that song at the start.... absolutley shameful. "We've got a grand slam says Barrack Obama"..................... what an insult that entire intro and interview was.

Yeah, they were both playing tonight, you know loads.

Why would it matter who was talking to him?
WHy would Bod not talk to him?

Would you like the Munster team to collect the plaudits, you ignorant idiot!
Stick to something you actually have a clue about in future.
O'Connell desrvedly showed up and was as class on camera as he was on the pitch,im sure they didnt invite Rog because
A-he did nothing except drop goal and kicking his goals,eg outhalfs job which the irish media seems to have orgasms off.
B-he doesnt come across as a nice person.

(Rory Best seems like a real nice guy)

Leave the chap alone, probably a bandwagon supporter who just got into rugby on the back of the game on saturday, no need to call him an ignorant idiot.

Yet another attempt to hijack a thread and turn it into a ROG bashing, yawn.

ANd how does he not come accross as a nice person, every interview he has ever given has been forthright and with a complete lack of bull****, it pisses me off the way people on boards try to make out that he is little more than a prima donna based on f!ck all, and have a good look at the france game before you go making silly comments on his six nations

The interview was pretty bad it has to be said. I was really looking forward to it but Kenny seemed to just drone on and I kind of lost interest.

i dont think it was ever going to be a great hard hitting in depth interview.
I think it was more just a show up have some light hearted chat, tell a joke, be told you're great and show us the trophy again.
which i was happy enough to watch.
i did like the idea of rory best kicking the winning drop goal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,082 ✭✭✭PCros

Wasnt the best interview all the same.

Armani Rich Tombstone, I take it you were slighty drunk because you didnt read my post, it was posted yesterday morning.
I've been into rugby for years and yes....soccer too, shock horror.

Just not a huge poster thats all.

Thats how Ireland does these things unfortunately. That music was an embarrassment beforehand.
I don't think Kenny has the personality to be a chat show host. He's definitely a better investigative journalist.

One thing he did however was spread the questions amongst the four guests and give them all time to finish what they're saying.
I've seen worse though. At least this was a winning coach with winning players. This is the place that gives open-top bus parades and Phoenix Pk homecomings for teams that get knocked out of a competition after all.

What a horrible interview. The lads were visibly uncomfortable with the piss poor questions and analogy's Kenny was coming out with.

Agreed. I can't find the interview online but I have managed to dig out arguably the most exciting part of the show:
