I live and go to college in Thurles and recently my friends and I have been stopped on numerous occasions by the guards. It always happens when we leave a friends house to go home after 1 a.m. If walking it's the normal questions of where are you? where are you going?
If driving they will ask if the driver has been drinking. We look like average students and I can't think of any way we have been acting suspicious.
Has there been some curfew implemented that I am unaware of?

Realy what I want to know is what's the best way to reuse to aswer their questions with out sounding cheeky.

Yes we steal off the state but are not petty criminals(which are the ones these guards are after)

The trick is to look like a real criminal who will cause actual paperwork for these awful men...
