can i use my sisters adapter in my laptop

    as some of u are aware, my mercury adapter is dead...after a brief period of reactivity it seems to have finally given up...r.i.p and all that.

    anyway i really want to play my football manager game so im tempted, but i dont wanna blow the computer

    well can i..i used it for a second and it charged but i took it out right away

    vs

    your sisters specs

    in terms of volts/current/wattage

    ok well on both adapters its says
    V85

    OUTPUT:19V(my one) 20v(her one)

    input:100-240v

    well her one obviously has 1 more volt going into your mobo than is necessary...

    20volts is quite alot for a laptop.

    wouldnt risk it at all
