Has anybody got idea what kind of industries would work outside the norm "9-5" (or nowadays 8-7) in the office environment i have already thought of

    call centres

Security and Emergency Services are the obvious ones. Supermarket retail would have plenty of evening shifts which college students, etc. usually cover. Any hospitality: hotels, pubs, clubs.

not just call centres - i.e making/accepting calls. A lot of these call centres also need order processing staff, so they also have data entry. For example Conduit are employing 12hr night shifts to help clear the sales backlog. My friend was doing it til a week ago. lucky for her she got a decent day job - night shifts are a killer, but 12hrs straight, 4 days running was killing her totally!

but not all of them do 12hr shfits, just the normal 8 hrs, or by the hour shifts, so maybe look at somewhere like that?

just think of anythings that operates 24/7, and it probably has a clerical section, albeit a reduced one at night e.g. a chemical factory, or waterford glass when it was open has to have someone keeping the furnace alive 24/7

Any industry in the marine sphere. Ports, ships, logistics, etc. etc.
