Space shuttle Discovery undocked from the International Space Station at 3:53 p.m. EDT on 25/3/09, now today they just passed over Galway heading East at bang on 8PM, What a sight to see the ISS and Discovery in a Line Astern Formation.

For those who think they might be UFO's:)

Just passed over again at 21:34PM bang on time, just more visibly Southern from where they passed over and visually more far apart. Pretty cool:cool:

Sounds pretty cool. Did you need a telescope to see them or were they visable to the naked eye?

Is the space above some parts of the country more active than others? Does the ISS follow a flight path or something? I'm in north Co.Cork, had thought about getting a telescope before. Might, sometime. :)

The ISS follows a path that remains constant, but the rotation of the earth makes it look like it's changing. The ISS looks like a fast-moving star, you don't need binoculars!

Earth made space objects aren't paranormal.

I think the whole point of the post was ensuring people weren't posting about UFO's sighted in the area, a kind of pre-explanation if that makes sense.
