What are the formulas to find the area of a triangle on a graph? There's one you can use when one point is the origin (0, 0), and another when none of the points is the origin.

For the one without the point at origin, just use a translation and bring back one of the points to (0,0) not forgetting to bring back the other points aswell. Then use the 2 remaining points in the formula: 1/2|X1.Y2 - X2.Y1|
