    Hey

I have recently upgraded my AVG Anti Virus software to the 8.5 version. However, I continuously get a message saying that my Firewall is not active. When I try to enter the Configuration Wizard, I get a message saying "Insufficient Permissions"? Can someone advise me on what to do??

Oh, just in case, I use Windows Vista Home Premium.

not sure about vista but in xp you have to manually turn the windows firewall off before you use a third party firewall, maybe that might be the problem?

Have you tried starting up the avg (or whatever its called).exe file by right-clicking on it as selecting "run as administrator"?
