COROLLA E10 - GLANZA CONVERSION???

    I'm considering dropping a glanza turbo engine into my 97 corolla. Its the up to 97 E10 saloon model. Has anyone any advice regarding this?

    As far as I can work out they share the same gearbox and clutch.
    Can anybody confirm this?


    Any help/advice would be much appreciated...

    It's been done already. I saw one at the Custom and Performance show in Limerick last year.

    You have to ask yourself what you'll actually have at the end of it. A car that's slower than a Glanza, and harder to insure legally.


    Maybe consider getting a Toyota Marino (1.6 20v)

    or a Corolla GT 20v, (also available in saloon, but uber rare)

    the same shape as yours. insurance is small enough on both these cars.

    id go for the hatch style e10 and try and get something along the lines of a 2.0 levin engine into it.
