I was driving through Dublin City Centre this afternoon, and in front of me was what looked like a Merc. But it didn't have a Merc badge. Where the badge/logo normally is there was a ( B ) and where it normally says E240 or whatever.. it said BRABUS.

I took a photo of it, weird reg too.... 08-D-2007

I'm not mad into cars, but was just wondering can someone tell me whats a Brabus?

Is that the car that was on top gear a good while back? It had so much torque the traction wouldn't let it take off or something? (when it was first made)

That was an SL65 Brabus, 6.3l V12 with over 700bhp I believe.You're right, I think he said it had 1000 torque and they had to bring it down because the car wouldn't move.

Brabus is a hardcore tuning company, they always go big with engines and bodykits, price tags too.... i know they tuned w210 (same shape as mine) and threw in 7.3 V12 into it, and called it e73 Brabus :cool: they also threw in 7.3 V12 into W220 S-Class and installed kompressor on top of it, they are mad but dats why everyone loves them.....
