    Guys,

I have been offered a quantity of B-Grade DVD Recorders with 250GB hard drive that we can just about retail at £49.95.

The recorder is a Wharfedale and is UHF/VHF, really slimline with HDMi/Upscaling etc and a full 12 month warranty.

Normally we never touch graded products - however this appears to be a completely spanking deal and these units are fully warranted and they are remanufactured, meaning that they are not old tat, but they are repacked and pretty much look as new (I have seen a sample).

    What do you guys think?

    £49.95 250GB DVD Recorder & HDD?

    Would appreciate your thoughts,

    ATB,

    John Mc

    Hi John

    Is it model no. DVDR24HD250F?

Can't really find much info on it but what little I could seems to indicate that its reg2 and doesn't play divx.

Still for £50 (plus p&p), I may be tempted....

edit: or is it a LP250DTRHDMI?

Depending on the model the £50 price seems very good. Net prices seem to be around £100 for new and £80 ish for refurbed units.

    Isn't Wharfedale an Argos brand?

Guys apologies for the delay in posting.

We did receive a shipment of these models however the 1st 3 that we tested have all proven to be faulty in some way or other so we have decided to return the whole lot!

As you are all aware we never sell graded products - I should have stuck to my principles.

Apologies for the false alarm - it WAS too good to be true
