Thought I'd share a double I'll be backing this Sunday, its a Hurling and Football double on PP, Tipp V Dublin in hurling WIN @ 3/10 - Tipp have an awful lot to prove after their hammering at the weekend by KK and with Dublin in Semple Stadium will hit the ground running.
Second half is Tipp -1 V Louth in football 5/4 - Footballers on the other hand riding high on the crest of a wave in Div 3, top of the table, 4 wins on the trot facing a Louth team bottom of the pile and facing relegation.

Louth are fifth in the table, four positions off bottom.

i have a couple of friends playing for louth and they are a far better team than their results have shown the lost three games in a row, first against down in newry by a point and in the last 10 minutes kicked 7 wides and missed a penalty, second game away offaly think we were 12 down at half time missed another penalty with 10 minutes to go,still got level in the last minute only to concede a silly free and lost by point again.next game were very poor no excuses but once again missed a penalty for the third game in a row.

Kerry have to be massive favourites against Dublin in the football. There might not be huge value there but could be worthwhile in an accumulator.

While Kerry have experimented a lot in the league so far, this is against the Dubs so expect a very strong lineup. There is no team announced yet but after having last weekend off Gooch, Paul Galvin and Declan O'Sullivan are very likely to start. I'd also imagine that David Moran and Kennelly are also likely to start.

Dublin on the other hand look weak especially upfront with the A Brogran not fully fit and B Brogan being rested along with C Whelan .

I really can't see this as anything other than a nailed on Kerry win.

    Dublin [SF v Kerry]: S. Cluxton (c); D. Henry, D. Bastick, A. Hubbard; B. Cullen, P. Griffin, G. Brennan; D. Magee, R. McConnell; D. Connolly, K. Bonner, P. Flynn; C. Keaney, M. Davoren, P. Andrews

Just thinking about it, I think the way to get value from the Kerry Dublin game might be by betting on Dublin to get relegated to Division 2.

If you assume Kerry will beat Dublin and given the fact that Donegal play Westmeath things will most likely look a lot worse for Dublin after the weekend. Either Donegal go to five points, Westmeath go to two points or Donegal go to four points and Westmeath go to two. For either of Mayo or Tyrone to get dragged into things they have to fail to get any point from their two games and even then there is the fact that their points difference is so much better. It's hard to see past Dublin get relegated, assuming that Kerry beat them at the weekend. It could well come down to which team scores more against Westmeath and whether either of them can get anything out of the other game Dublin v Kerry and Donegal v Derry.

    Kerry 10 24
    Galway 9 22
    Derry 7 19
    Mayo 4 4
    Tyrone 4 -4
    Dublin 3 -13
    Donegal 3 -14
    Westmeath 0 -38

    Dublin v Kerry
    Westmeath v Donegal
    Galway v Mayo
    Tyrone v Derry

    Dublin v Westmeath
    Mayo v Tyrone
    Derry v Donegal
    Kerry v Galway

Louth aren't a bad team just seem to be experiencing poor form in the league, I'm hoping the home advantage on Sunday will pull Tipp through, although with 5/6 off senior panel involved with Tipp 21s in Saturday's MF Final versus Cork it's hard to know...

Maybe head ruling heart here but I can't see Cork winning to be honest.

Clare were a man up and around five points up with 10 mins to go but then Cork got a poxy goal and kicked on but from what I heard Clare should have hammered them.
