    Hi All

I just bought the above mentioned laptop.
Im having problems viewing tv stations on it.
It scans for services and gets all 4 standard stations, rte1, rte2,tv3 and tnag. When i go to view them there is no video displayed, just the sound from the station.
    Any ideas whats up?

Built in "Integrated DVB-T TV Tuner and Antenna"

    Thanks in advance

Hi there, just got mine and I have the same issue.
I get the digital radio stations also.
The signal is digital and not analogue, which I did not realise was available yet (Im in the West)
I got a very brief image one day, so I wonder if the signal strength is too weak?
Possibly its not setup right if the audio is perfect.
I might ask support for some ideas.
    Great machine otherwise.

I have a digital bloody telly, and I don't get them freeview... so y'know. It might not be your computers.

I also have a digital bloody telly (well digital satellite receiver), but the terrestrial digital signal is sent out by RTE I believe as a trial. I thought it was only in the Dublin area though.

As I pay my license fee, it ain't freeview (but I don't know why the UK digital channels are there)

Was chatting to Dell guy online about other issue - I mentioned TV while I was at it. He recommended using Windows Media Center, and not WinTV (as he was unfarmiliar with WinTV) and as I was speaking to him the picture got better and better! Was still very jerky, but at least I could see it. He feels it is the digital signal which I think is right, because Ireland does not have a terrestrial TV signal that Im aware of as yet.

Have a look at the Stickies on the Terestrial TV forum here

Should answer your questions, I think.
