Main Event Details
1. Who is running the event: WAD events
2. The purpose of the event: Fundraiser ( Max 20% of buy-ins goes to charity). This % could be less ,depending on sponsorship received.
3. Date and Location of event: 5th-7th june./ Stand House Hotel, Newbridge
4. Registration and Start time of event. Reg from 6pm friday Game starts 8pm
5. Any prerequisites: No
6. How can tickets be purchased & is there a maximum number: Ph 087-4187061 or 087-1300618 or on the day.
7. Type of Tournament: NL Holdem Freezeout
8. Cost of entry and any subsequent rebuys/top-ups etc: Entry €300. No rebuys OR top ups
9. Cost of registration: €50 (includes entry to curragh races on sat evening)
10. % of entry fee/rebuys/top-up going into Prize fund: at least 80%
10a. Is any money from the prize fund held back for future tournaments, if so, how much: No
11. Any guarenteed prize pool: No.
12. If applicable, Number of re-buys allowed and over what time frame/blind levels: N/A

Yes. It is a fundraising event. However it is being backed by several of the top bookies so we may be able to pay out more to prize pool. All prize money will be clearly stated before event starts.

oh yeah. well it was 3 in the morning when i read this.:D Hopefully we can still fill the event. Its a good cause with a nice prize fund for a reasonable buy-in.

We know but still are going ahead with this event as it needs to fit around the horse racing calender aswell and was planned before the date of shorthanded championship was announced. There is a fair bit of interest so hopefully with the smaller buy in and different structure we can get the players.

First satelite in Milltown Inn ,Newbridge on Sunday 26th April at 6.30pm. €20 with rebuy/top up €10. One ticket for every €350 in pot.Also online Satelites will be running on boylepoker.com from next week. The Loft in Naas, The Gold Club in Letterkenny and The Olympus in Waterford will also be running sats in the coming weeks.

Atlantis Casino Carlow will also be running sats for this. There is also a €20 rebuy satelite every Sunday night in Milltown Inn, Newbridge at 7.30pm.

There are two side events,€150 inc. €20 reg freezeout on saturday at 8pm and €150 inc €20 reg freezeout on Sunday at 4pm. Both fully dealered and 100% payout. Super Satelite on Thursday 4th June at 8pm, €50 with 1 €30 rebuy. Cash games all weekend also. Hope you can make it.

Didn't even spot that. Going from 500/1000 to 800/1500 is a bit of a steep jump with a 10k starting stack IMO.
