Calendar sync problem with iPhone

I'm getting a strange error when trying to synchronise my iPhone and Mac. The error message is I've tried shutting down the phone for 15 minutes and rebooting, but no luck. Has anyone had this and solved it?

iTunes could not sync calendars to the iPhone "Luckat's iPhone" because an error occurred while sending data from the iPhone

I've tried shutting down the phone for 15 minutes and rebooting, but no luck.

Has anyone had this and solved it?
