    Hi,

I am self employed, I started a new sideline in December last year to boost my income from the main business

How can I get a P60 for the new business when I only started it less than 4 months ago??

Are you sure it's a P60 you want?

A P60 is a form an employer gives an employee at the end of the tax year to prove how much income you earned / tax you paid in that tax year. If you / your company paid you, you / your company should have given you a P60 as proof of income / proof of tax paid in 2008.

I am 100% sure that the bank want to see one IDIOTS!,

I have applied for a mortgage with the AIB, I have a main business for which I have been a partner of for 2 years, I have given the bank the accounts for this business.

On the application form, it asked for "other income" I told them about a new business I started in December last year to supplement my main income, I clearly told the bank that I am self employed and they have told me they need the p60 and cannot go any further with my application until I give them this!!!

The bank are looking to confirm income from a validated source, if you dont have a P60 available yet then a statement from your accountant confirming income should be sufficient.
