Ok, so I have 01 Seat Leon 1.4 57K Miles. Its in goof mechanical order but has been keyed down the full drivers side all panels. The other side also has a scrape on it from a Car park some it must of rubbed of it.
Doesnt have a dealers service history I get it serviced in Bridge motors in Rush regularly and it has never missed a service.

Anyway I want to change car to a low mileage below 60K Diesel.
    My current list would be
    1 Seat Altea 05 1.9
    2 Seat Toleda 05 1.9
    3 Ford Mondea 05 1.9 or 2
    4 Skoda Octavia 1.9
5 Ford Fusion Diesel 1.6 or higher (Is this a good car pretty crap looking)

The max I would have to spend would be 5k maybe 6k pushing it though this wouldnt include the trade in for my car would hope to get between 2k to 2,5k as a trade in.
Do you think this is possible. Most of the cars on usual sites are between 8K to 12K. Seem to vary hugely. I have also looked up north but would be pointless unless I could sell mine privately which I don't really want the hassle of doing.

Want reasonable value, you'll need to do some leg work. Drive around to the dealers and see what's on offer. Out of your list I'd go for the Mondeo.

Really I had my hart set on the altea really like the design I think the Mondeo is a tad mundane on the styling front.

Which model Mondeo would be best to for engine wise

    anyone got any recommendations?
Looked at the usual sites but nothing. Autoquake has some nice cars has any one used them.

Dealers dont want trade-in's. Simple as that. You will be insulted by the value they're going to offer you for your car. If you do manage to get 2.5k then the price of the new car will probably be at the most expensive dealership. Sell it privately, sell it cheap, and go in with a big wad of cash to the dealer. Best way to buy.
