Lanzarote & Indonesia

    Hi folks

2 separate queries really - I am a beginner with just 4 or 5 dives that I did in the Maldives a few years ago as well as a refresher course here in a pool a few weeks back. I'm heading to Lanzarote next week and would like to do a dive. Previous posts have mixed feelings about Safari Diving (which will be really close to my hotel) but the posts are a bit dated - Anyone have recent experience with these or others in Lanzarote?

Also a general question (have asked on the Travel forum with no response) I am heading to Indonesia in a couple of months on a diving trip - Most details are sorted as a friend of a friend is involved in the dive company. However can someone that has experience of going to Indonesia tell me if shots are required for this type of trip? Also does anyone know what currency is most accepted there - Indonesian Ringgit or USD?

    Cheers

ringgit is all thats accepted but you can change money almost everywhere. atms are your best bet though! talk to the tmb about shots, i had hep a and b and one or 2 others, not sure if theyre necessary though.

Thanks for coming back - I got a dive in with Safari Diving in Lanarote so I'm ready for Indonesia now. I think I gave a bum steer by saying Ringgit as the currency of Indonesia is the Rupiah. I'll just get a little of this and pay the dive company etc by credit card

I also went to TMB and topped up on the necessary shots

    Can't wait now!!

    Cheers
