    Sister ordered a hair straightner from http://www.inghd.com/ last night using my cc details and e mail address. Thing is the confirmation e mail is extremely unprofessional with broken english - sister was of the impression that she was buying from someone in the UK but I'm not so sure - anyone any experience of dealing with them?

    Registrant of website is in Fuji.. but IP is USA based. Just because something is based in Sterling doesnt mean its from the UK!

    The words 'Shipping' Cart should have given it away too!

    Oh, and their contact email is a gmail addy. Not very professional.

    Everything about it looks dodgy, except that they do use an actual secure payment processor. That doesn't necessarily mean they are legit, it's just that most scam sites use Western Union for payment. The Gmail address, poor spelling, etc all make it look like a scam site.

    If I were the OP, I'd be a little worried about:
    A) Getting what I paid for
    B) My credit card details

    Thanks all. Rang cc company. Correct amount billed. Customer service woman said absolutely no need to cancel cc as I was fully covered for internet fraud ! Assume then that, given company has got the money, sister will get no hair straightener or one that burns the head off her ( hopefully :pac: ) and/or is stuck together with cellotape !
