This is probably a silly question - so advance apologies! I am looking at a 2007 car which is still under warranty. Are there any possible risks or will the waranty cover everything? Obviously I will look for any visible evidence of scratches, etc. What else should I check??? Price is good so am a little afraid that it could be too good to be true :-)

is it private sale or from a garage???
Toyota's come with 3 years manufacturers warranty so it being an 07 it still has a year left.
just ensure it has been fully serviced by a reputable garage using proper parts as Toyota do not have to stand over the warranty if it hasnt.
I'd do a history check on it on cartel.ie
make sure its not an import(check it has kms on the clock) or it hasnt been clocked.

It's a private sale. I ran a cartell report. It was first bought in April 2007 and then sold in May 2007! There is a gap in the car tax of at least 1 month between May 2008 and April 2009. The person I am buying from said they never had the car serviced!!!! They did have a DVD player fitted though. Should any of this be a cause of concern?

    So complicated!!!
