ok so was walking to the shop on my lunch break today, chatting away to my friend and was shocked by what happened next.

a car came flying around from the roundabout and slammed on the breaks stopping on the road there and then, while another car was coming from behind. thankfully all was ok, so we looked around to see why she jammed on though as there was nothing infront of her or anything around for her to do so.

next she turned around and started walloping a child in the car, we were both shocked, to think that someone would nearly cause an accident to do this, if the person behind her was travelling any faster she would have smacked right into her.

That's nuts, some people are just plain retarded and are destined to die for their stupidity. Taking out other people in the process is just collateral damage

She should have being reported for physically abusing a child and driving recklessly .

Was he strapped in properly ? If the child distracted her then he shouldn't have being in the car but , yeah these thing happen Abie .( which doesn't excuse hitting the child )

Why didn't you take the opportunity to help this kind of thing from happening again by REPORTING HER?

EDIT: I saw your later post so nevermind.

Now that is a ridiculous post. I didnt condone hitting the child. I merely suggested by the information given by the OP, and the womans reaction, that the child could have been a brat.

Where you got that idea from was because I called the child 'the little fücker', and you took it to town.

to be honest i wouldn't have a clue about makes of cars, i wouldn't know a toyota from volks wagon, so i'd be the worst type of person to ask about cars.

That is disgraceful, cant believe a woman would almost cause an accident just to smack her child, had it of been a fella driving i'm sure he could have controlled the car and smacked the little bastard at the same time.

Oh the bravery for hitting a baby.

I suppose it was asking for it though, just like that "snot nosed little prick" Baby P was asking for it.

Welllllllllllll it's a very grey area

If the child did nothing major wrong , then the mother was a right cow

if the child wasn't putting on it's seatbelt or was giving major stick to the mam, then maybe but there's no need to LACE into a child, like a light smack ?

I agree with half of your post.
I believe a man would have parked up and sorted it then.
Maybe not even with a smack.

Jesus , if the child wasn't putting on it's seatbelt?

The seat belt should be put on the child by the adult.
And if the child was taking the seat belt off, then the worst thing the mother could have done was brake.

Plain and simple, she should not have braked like that unless it was an emergency stop.

Was it a packet of condoms?

The mother should have done the right thing which was to not stop the car but then clatter the kid when they got home.

Bad mother: smoking, with the child in the back of the car.

Good mother: stopping the car quickly to beat out the flames after the butt flies back in the window...
