Who cares if they're fake? As long as you're paying a price that reflects the product. If you pay full price for something that's not even real then you're just an idiot.

yeah I think it depends on the type of person you are, if that kind of thing bothers you. I shop in penneys occasionally, and to be honest, most of the stuff in there is considered a fake of sorts, or a rip-off of other designs, brands.
I do have a bit of a moral battle with myself when it comes to all out fakes, like a fake prada bag for example. I sometimes think that if you cant afford it, why pretend you can. If you're not willing to spend the money on a real one, you obviously don't think its worth the money, so why do you feel the need to have it?

I don't think i would - if i was waiting 3 years for them i would hold out a bit longer until i could get my hands on the real mc coy.

    i would..
then if i found the ones i wanted in the real version, i'd buy them..

i bought a pair of converse style shoes in new look for like E15 just 'cause i like the designs on them - which you cant get on the real ones.. but i also have 2 pairs of real ones and am planning on getting another pair..

i dont see the problems in fakes tbh

I would so long as the price reflected the quality of them... beware if you're referring to an internet purchase though... I would only by fakes in this case if I could see them with my own eyes... fakes bought through a photo online, in my experience, are always dressed up, when you get them all you can see is cheap plastic that the photo didn't betray.

    true
well the justification for me is you can get them but there rare, usually used and upwards of 1000.00 even on ebay... now i can get these fakes there a complete match... except there a 10th of the price...

No, fakes are just bad news and fund criminal organisations. So no I wouldn't.

It's one thing for the likes of Penneys to create "inspired" pieces but to blantly try and pass off something as designer when it's not is just insulting to the designer.

Sometimes you don't know what's fake. I got two pairs of shoes from Ebay - different colours, different vendors but they are supposed to be the same model of Nike trainer.

They are subtly different though but I can't tell which pair is genuine and which is fake. The quality is equally good.

Imo, fakes should only ever be worn ironically.
