I had a 1994 Ibiza parked outside my house when some thugs decided to break into it over the weekend .

They bent the door to get it open . Now when I went to start the car the key only turns halfway in the ignition. The steering lock seems to be broken as well since I can turn the wheel without the key .

Im looking to move the car to a garage or scrapyard and was wondering is there a way I can get it started ?

Im guessing theres no immobilisor in the car given the age and was thinking of finishing the job the thugs started :)

presuming there's an immobiliser, as long as the key is near the receiver (usually a plastic ring around the ignition barrell) presuming the steering lock is broken, and you can turn the ignition switch manually, then it seems likely.

Easy enough to do with just the exposed wires - only three needed but I don't think it'd be wise to post the sequence and colours on a public forum........
