Help! - Ferguson HD receiver tuner problem?

    Hi lads,

    I bought a Ferguson HF8900 HD receiver from a lad on adverts.ie and finally got it hooked up and to the satellite on the roof of the apartment block. Now heres the problem:

    The box turns on but when I try to scan any satellites, it reboots. This is the same for auto or manual scanning. Ive reloaded the firmware and reset to original settings however no luck. I'm thinking that there is a problem with the DVB-s tuner but I'm no expert which is why I started this thread!

    Does anyone know of any similiar problems with sat receivers? Or does anyone know of someone who can repair these boxes (for a reasonable price!)
