I got a nintendo ds in december just gone. Was using it yesterday and it was grand but when i went to turn it on today its just dead. Tried charging it and the light doesnt even come on.. Does any one know what could be wrong or where i can go to get it fixed? Or am i better off just buying a new one? Im so p**sed off about it because i was always careful with it and had a protective case for it and all! Havent even had it that long!!!:( Any help?

    Here:

I just got two DS's back today from them, great service and good turnaround timewise.

I emailed for a quote before sending them, so you can always try that and see if you are happy :)

Might be just a dead battery (per chance!) remove it via un doing the little screw on bottom panel and take it out, then try plugging into charger and turning on. If that doesnt work this its something internal in DS itself. Prboably wont fix your problem but worth a shot as you can do it yourself, and if it is a faulty battery there pretty cheap to get.

If it was purchased just last December it's still in warranty and Nintendo will fix it or replace it no problem.

This is Nintendo's repair site for dealing with repairs.
    http://www.nintendoservicecentre.co.uk/index.php

You can request it to be fixed trough their website without calling them. They'll send out a priority freepost label that you can use to send it off. Shouldn't cost you anything.

If it's not in warranty Nintendo will still repair it at a cost of between £29.85 - £53.85. Still better then buying a new one in my opinion.
