I'm thinking of biting the bullet.
After applying the old adage of dont interfere with asbestos, and it wont interfere with you,
I'm thinking of replacing the asbestos roof on my garage (about 15 m2)
and small boiler house (about 5 m2)

I realise I'll have to get a licensed asb contractor.

How much do you think it would cost?

use an angle grinder with cutting discs, cut the panels into small pieces and sneak them into your domestic waste collection.

shovel excess dust and bits to your back garden, it makes for an excellent sand pit substitute, the kids will have hours of fun.

sweep up all the remaining dust and mix with your marmalade for some tasty toast in the mornings.

    happy abatement....

    About €450 should do it.

    Dangerous comments from Barname.

€450 sounds reasonable, thanks for that.
