Skype phone over LAN

    Just wondering if anyone had any advice on the best setup for this?
    is it possible?

    You can get wifi skype phones. All you need is wifi access. I have the original one nec made and its rubbish but im sure there are better ones now.

    Tried different handsets and settled with RTX 3088... works well.

    Im trying to find out if you can add additional handsets to the base station over DECT but Im getting conflicting information.

    Just wondering if there was any outcome on this ...... and also wondering why the Skype protocol would be used (for compatibility with existing setup?) ....... I have used VOIP over the LAN using SIP which would not need any internet connection.

    So any update? ......

    Additional handsets can be added. RTX3088 is working well....no issues.
