    .

It was Dallas's turn to play an AFC team on thanksgiving and because they have only two home games against AFC teams (Oakland and San Diego) it was always going to be a 50-50 chance of it being the Raiders.

Added to the fact that a fixture that looks awful in March could become potentially different in November ;)

Good time to play the chargers. Atleast we wont have Deangelo Fall to make a mess of things.

They've had MNF double headers the last couple few years (as they don't get a game in week 17)

Yeah thats what we thought against Carolina and Denver last year!

But we should be the Jokeland Raiders easily enough...especially with LT sorting out his contract and always doing well against them.. :)

Didn't think this was worthy of a new thread but Goodell wants a longer season apparently from 17 to 18 games

I really don't like this idea at all. The entire economy of the NFL will be altered by having two or even one more regular season game. Players are going to want higher salaries because the owners are obviously going to be making more money. Players will be more liable to injury since clearly they don't play a lot in the preseason.

Just keep it as it is and reduce the preseason games would be my vote.

They're never going to reduce the amount of games played (and lose income)

If they increase it to 17 it gives some teams a clear home field advantage, so if thye do increase it kinda has to be 18 IMO

They've said that no matter what happens the total of pre-season and reglar season won't exceed 20 games
