    I'm a fan of ABC Family shows, this new one could be quite interesting if done right...i'm sure Heath will get an "in loving memory" as well. Good news is that the original dad in the movie has been cast as the dad in the TV series, i thought he was great in the film and the original film director will direct the pilot

    Awesome. I quite like this show. It was a tad bit cliche and predictable, but enjoyable all that same.

    Lindsay Shaw is quite good, the show itself is just OK....i like Larry Miller as the dad, he needs more screen time. One flaw IMO is having Stuart Gillard as ex-producer and directing many of the eps., he's horrible IMO....he's now attached to 90210 as a producer and has totally changed the vibe of the show, for the worse.

    If you look at some of the CRAP on IMDB he's been involved with (Diseney's `Hatching Pete`) you'll see the guy is a muppet.

    But yeah, overall i think it deserves a second run, i wouldn't mind seeing it turn into a normal 60 min show.

    So i just had a catch-up session, ep. 12-15 :-)
    not bad, actually i think the writing has improved with this new batch of eps. - the style of writing reminds me alot of Greek.#

    Ep. 15 was the best, and this was the best part...nice cover of Kids In America, i got a slight Glee smile on my face during this part :-)

    ABC Family has canceled 10 Things I Hate About You, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
    The news first broke on executive producer Carter Covington's Twitter. "Sad news," he tweeted. He then thanked the fans and urged them to enjoy the last episodes.
    The sophomore series, based on the 1999 film starring Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger, will end its run after this season's final five episodes, reps confirm. The show has been averaging just less than 1 million viewers.

    ^ damn!....i didn't think it was doing that bad, i really belived it would get a second season!

    This is Kyle XY all over again, axe the series in the middle of it's 10 episode run...bah!, i guess it'll free up Melissa & Joey, but i think that show will tank in the ratings!

    The executive producer of 10 Things I Hate About You has compared the show's cancellation to a break up.

    Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Carter Covington explained that he does not blame ABC Family for ending the series.

    "I was telling someone it feels kind of like a break up," he said. "Like you got dumped by this person and you're like, 'Wait a second. But we had such a great thing going on. Why would you dump me?'.

    "I know [ABC Family] loved the show... I think they were in a difficult, difficult position to try to figure out how to market and bring back one half-hour comedy by itself."
