Thats not too far from me. I'll keep an eye out for them and I'll let my friends know too. Who ever has taken them will have to shift them some time. No locking nuts on them?

yeah there was locking nuts. it was my bosses car and it was parked out the back of our yard not being used, there were some dodgy looking lads poking around and getting bits off scrapped cars one day and the next day the car was lying on the ground! they broke in during the night an got them off.

The reason I asked was because I'm fair sure I saw a similar set for sale some where. You didn't take that second pic from an advert of similar wheels for sale did you? I'll have a look around and try find where I think I saw them for sale.

i think the second pic is from a volvo forum, that was the only picture of those wheels i could find!

    Hello op.
Gutted to hear about your wheels being stolen, I hope you get them back.
If your car is on blocks I have a set of bmw 520 steel wheels with tyres you can have, there is some meat left on the tyres.
It won't look good but it will get you rolling. They are off the same shape 5 series. If you need em' pm me.

Only thing I can think of is to drill em carefully at the expense of damaging the owners wheel hub but the pond life don't care. It sickens me when I hear of people doing this

I've heard of a case where they glued the end of the wheel brace onto the lock nut. This stuff sickens me to hear.

cheers for the offer stratos but we have plenty of wheels for it.
they were standard bmw lock nuts, and we have a good few for breaking so they could have got a key from a crashed car, plus we were only testing the wheels on the car to see what they looked like so the nuts werent overly tight.
