conncting a b&q DTr reciever

    hi guys,
    i bought a fortec star fs 2100 DTR from b&q in limerick. i have a sky dish and box in the living room, can someone tell me how to set up the new box in the bedroom? the setup only had Uk in options when i tried off ariel. nothing worked.

    any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Why are they selling these things:eek:
    Bring it back straight away (tomorrow - not at 9.30 at night !) and demand your money back - hope you didn't pay more than €20 for it in any case - they are flogging them in the UK for under £15.

    These boxes are not suitable for Irish MPEG-4 DTT. They are MPEG-2 only.

    Also, I dont think DTT is available in the Limerick area just yet, but when it is you will need an MPEg-4 receiver.

    Damn - you beat me to it.
    B&Q liffey valley always seem to have UK spec freeview stuff on the shelves - it's disgraceful.
    If it is one of these :-

    I think DTT is on in Limerick btw.

    cheers for that lads. think it was 17€. knew it was too good to be true. thieving so and sos, there's a pallet of them in limerick.
