There's a lot of various desert based shots, but I guess the biggest reveal (aside from a proper look of the broken bus in the scenes) are the monsters. Which look crap, if I may be so frank.

Bug-heads looked stupid as the Foamasi, looked dumb as Husks (Ghostlight), they look dumb here. As the comments remark in the above URL, it's like they're not bothered any more :(

Also; the prospect of Lee Evans gurning on-screen fills me with a mixture of dread & anger. I dub it "dranger". Nice to see the return of the UNIT captain from Turn Left though (and UNIT in general of course!)

Looks like they're going for an old school Who look with the monsters. I reckon I could like the retroness of them. I doubt they could be worse than the Slitheen, that's for sure.

Why not just bring back the Zarbi and be done with it?

Those costumes really look pretty crap - so that's a nice nod back to the original show! I also see a bus in the background and wonder if Iris Wildthyme will show up (not a chance...).

And now we have the first trailer! There's not a whole lot to go on really, beyond the lovely shots of desert :)

It may be a nod to classic Who, just not quite in the way you think...

There's a rumour going around about this fly-head creature and Lee Evans character which, if true, is going to make all those criticising the costume look very, very silly.

Think of a very recent Hartnell DVD release and you'll know what I'm on about! ;)

    Well the rumour is...
The fly-creature *is* Lee Evans, dressing up in a rubbish alien costume! So anyone claiming that this alien doesn't look realistic are actually correct in that this isn't supposed to be a real alien.

I was referring to the Hartnell story 'The Rescue' in which the same thing happens.

I stress that I don't know if that's true or not, it's just a rumour doing the rounds. Hope it is true though. :)

Hmm... actually, the more details that emerge about this episode and the more behind-the-scenes stuff I see, the more likely it seems that this rumour is in fact a load of bo****ks. :o
