Question about financial aid

    Hi,

    I start college last September after ahving been unemplyed and on the dole for the six months previous. Now I asked in my local social welfare office about entitlements and was told that I was entitled to nothing not even back to education. I alway sgot no grant as I was 22 and only turned 23 last december 18th. Last week I was told by a friend that I am in fact entitled to financial aid and I was wondering if anyoen would have any information regarding what exactly I am entitled to.
