To be honest, I know more men who bitch than women.. and it's always about ridiculously small, insignificant things, or if they get a papercut. God forbid if a man ever gets a papercut, you'll never hear the end of it.

If you mean bitchin as in talking behind other peoples backs, i find women a million times worse than guys. Generally if a guy has a problem with someone theyll say it to their face whereas women will find all and sundry to talk to rather than the person theyre supposed to. I think men handle confrontation better so arent afraid of saying they have a problem with someone.

Again, I don't know about that... I've run into a lot of situations since I've been here where it's the guys who gossip, I've only ever heard about the rumours they spread/problems they have with me from other people (usually the bartender), NEVER directly from the guy himself, whereas with the girls I've always been confronted if there's a rumour/issue.

Maybe I just have really, really weird experiences..

aren't there statistics floating about that men use, on average, about 4000 words a day while women use about 7000. thats 3000 extra words for the fairer sex, but i'm sure they use them well.

Naw that's a fallacy. It was written in some "self help" book years back as the truth. Then other self help books quoted it, but it has no basis in reality. Oft quoted though.
