I'm wondering if anyone out there can help me. My 5 year old has started to learn Irish and has really taken to it which I'm delighted about. However being the lazy git I was in school, I barely can put two words together and my husband is Scottish so hasn't a clue either. The small guy loves to throw in the Irish his learned when talking to us at home but we're left stumped half the time. Can anybody recommened an Irish guide for parents with young kids learning Irish? I mean something really , really simple... His teacher did give a loan of the teachers manual but really all I want is something that maybe has pictures with the irish words under it and sentances with direct translations. I really don't want to put him off because of my ignorance. :( Thanks in advance!
